Honduras Light Roast Alexia Mejia

This washed coffee comes directly from the farm to your cup. It is grown by Alexia Mejia, who with four partners purchased land to grow the Parainema varietal at Finca Liquidámbar.

Two things about the farm: it should be called resilient. It has survived a pandemic, the divorce of two partners, and unemployment among its partners - and it has never stopped. It emerged even stronger. The name Liquidámbar comes from a beautiful, common tree in the area. In English that is “liquid amber,” and its golden color resembles fine specialty coffee.

The cup: notes of sweet citrus, floral, plum, and jasmine tea.
